Freddy's not on his way to Weymouth!

There was a huge disappointment for Freddy this week when newly promoted Weymouth denied him his first visit to the Wessex Stadium. Despite having their own mascot, Terra-Bull, the south-coast club told Freddy that they only allow their own mascot to attend Weymouth home games.

Visiting mascots are always very welcome at The Shay but unfortunately other clubs do not always reciprocate the hospitality. Some of the youngsters at Halifax Town have been asking when another mascot might come to visit so they clearly enjoy the presence of an away mascot. The next mascots due to visit The Shay are Tamworth's Tammy the Lamb and Billy Brewer from Burton Albion, both in October.

Freddy's not one to bear a grudge and is looking forward to inviting Terra-Bull to The Shay when Weymouth play Halifax in January.
