Mickey the Monkey Wins 2006 Mascot Grand National!

Kick4Life mascot, Mickey the Monkey, romped home to an easy victory in this year's WBX.com British Mascot Grand National. Southampton F.C.'s Sammy Saint finished second closely followed by H'Angus the Monkey from Hartlepool United. The annual event held at Huntingdon Racecourse since 1999 attracted mascot entrants from all over the country and raised money for chosen charity The Children's Trust.

Freddy finished in 32nd place after being made to start 30 yards behind the main start with an extra fence to jump as part of the handicapping rules.
