Tammy The Lamb Visits The Shay!

The Shay had its first mascot visitor of the season last week when the Tamworth mascot, Tammy the Lamb, journeyed north for the recent Conference game. Freddy and Tammy have been best mates for many years and both mascots had a great day entertaining the crowd and getting up to the usual antics.

Tammy's party piece is to perform cartwheels up and down the touchline at every opportunity and Saturday was no exception! Tammy was left feeling a bit sheepish after one cartwheel left the woolly wonder flat out on the pitch!

Freddy and Tammy had intended to take part in a penalty shoot-out at half-time but the Tamworth players were sent back out early which confused Freddy making him think half-time was over. A bemused Tammy was left to entertain the crowd with a few more cartwheels!
