Last orders for Betty Brewer!

The recent home game against Burton Albion was a sad occasion for Burton Albion mascot, Billy Brewer. It was the last away game for Billy's other half, Betty Brewer, before she hands up her handbag and semi-retires. To mark the event Chaddy the Owl, from Oldham Athletic, came along to say farewell and join in the afternoon's fun and games.

At half-time Billy, Betty, Chaddy and Freddy, along with three young fans from each club, took part in a Crossbar Challenge. Instead of the usual penalties the aim of the game is to hit the crossbar rather than put the ball in the back of the net. The prize for hitting the bar is a Freddy football. One of the Burton Albion supporters forced Freddy into making a save but Freddy's save only tipped the ball onto the bar!
